Huey Magoo’s Now Open in Tallahassee, Florida
America’s Greatest Tasting, Rapidly Expanding, Fast-Casual Chicken Tenders Brand Celebrates the Latest Opening in Florida and 71st Store Companywide
Tallahassee, FL (January 16, 2025) — Huey Magoo’s – “The Filet Mignon of Chicken®” – is proud to celebrate its newest franchise store now open in Tallahassee, Florida, announces President and CEO Andy Howard. Huey Magoo’s Tallahassee is the 71st restaurant opening companywide, spanning 12 states with hundreds more franchises currently sold in 15 states. The 2,100-square-foot free-standing restaurant features a mobile pickup window in which guests can order in advance through Huey Magoo’s mobile app and pick up their order at the pickup window at their scheduled time. This is the first of five Huey Magoo’s stores to open in the Tallahassee area under franchisees Terry Reasner, Stan Barbour, Ron Wahl and Michael Wahl, who have over 100 years of combined restaurant experience, including most recently Papa Johns. This new location offers dine-in/out, takeout, catering and online ordering through Huey Magoo’s mobile app, website and third-party delivery services DoorDash and Uber Eats.
“We are absolutely thrilled about being the first to serve ‘The Filet Mignon of Chicken’ to the local community,” says Reasner. “Many people in Tallahassee have not yet experienced Huey Magoo’s, and we believe that once they try it, they will be quite pleased, and it’ll be worth the tremendous built-up energy and excitement that’s been surrounding our opening. Michael Wahl in our franchise group grew up in Tallahassee and went to Florida State University’s Dedman School of Hospitality. He always wanted the opportunity to follow in his father Ron’s footsteps, who achieved tremendous success franchising here, and also to be able to give back to his hometown. Huey Magoo’s fast casual restaurants offer dine-in/out, takeout, catering and online ordering through Huey Magoo’s mobile app and website, along with delivery through third-party delivery services, drive-thru and curbside pickup at participating restaurants.
