Mother’s Day 2025 Deals and Specials for Fast Food, Brunch and Dining

Forget economic uncertainty, we are celebrating moms this Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 11. 

According to a pair of recent consumer surveys, if you’re shopping for mom or planning to take her out for brunch, you anticipate that you will spend more. More than 8 in 10 U.S. adults (84%) plan to celebrate Mother’s Day, spending $259.04 on average for gifts and activities — about $5 more than a year ago — according to the National Retail Federation’s survey of 7,948 consumers conducted from March 31-April 7 by Prosper Insights & Analytics. 

However, some consumers say higher prices, due to inflation and the effect of tariffs, means they will spend less than they have in the past. A LendingTree survey found consumers plan to spend, on average, $148 on Mother’s Day — down 14% from 2023 spending ($172). More than half (56%) said inflation and the current economy would impact how much they spend on Mother’s Day, and 38% said these tariffs will result in spending less, according to the online survey of 2,000 U.S. consumers, conducted from April 2-3 for LendingTree by QuestionPro. 

Luckily, if you want to take mom out for a meal — or if you still need to get a present — many restaurants and retailers are offering deals and specials for Mother’s Day. Remember to check your local favorites for specials, too.
