Huey Magoo’s is looking for a qualified individual to spearhead the grand openings of new restaurants across Orlando!
Candidate would provide advice, counsel, coaching and assistance to the franchisee/operator to help boost sales, profits and operating standards, all while working independently based out of our corporate location in Lake Mary. This opportunity is a work from home opportunity until we secure a corporate location.
The ideal candidate for this position has at least 5 years of experience in a restaurant franchise environment, surpassing the role of General Manager, and understands the corporate role in a franchise business with operations and training. This role requires leadership, influence and functional expertise to create meaningful, productive partnerships with each franchise point of contact. Candidate would be responsible for conducting brand standards and compliance audits for Huey Magoo’s, along with evaluating the proper execution and compliance of these standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Included in the scope of responsibilities is coordinating and leading the new restaurant opening process.
- Implementation of all pre-opening activities to ensure adherence to a successful and timely opening.
- Train new franchisees in our corporate restaurant.
- Responsible for certifying the training of managers, who were trained by the franchisee.
- Document activities, visits, and contacts with franchisees.
- Deliver company objectives and ensure they are communicated with all franchisees.
- Work in our corporate restaurant to develop techniques and work with managers on training staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years solid experience in multi-unit management of a branded, franchised, restaurant business.
- Thorough knowledge of P&L management in a multi-unit restaurant environment.
- Come to work ready to work harder than everyone else.
- Extreme attention to detail, you must catch the little things that everyone else might miss.
- You need to be passionate about training and able to lead by example.
- Honesty and Integrity – all day, every day.
